LED technology has established itself as one of the most environmentally friendly lighting options. All our products are either equipped with energy-efficient LEDs or designed to be easily compatible with LED light sources.
For our GO GREEN products, we primarily use recycled materials and renewable raw materials from responsible, sustainable forestry.
Our packaging consists of 80% recycled materials. We consciously reduce or avoid the use of plastic in our packaging. Instead, we rely on environmentally friendly alternatives such as paper, cardboard and biodegradable materials. This helps to reduce plastic pollution and minimise environmental impact.
Our PV system uses state-of-the-art solar modules that efficiently convert sunlight into electrical energy. The system has a module area of 12,000 square metres and enables us to cover a large part of our energy requirements from renewable sources and significantly reduce our CO2 emissions.
Almost half of our vehicle fleet has already been converted to electric vehicles. There are 8 charging stations available for employees and customers. By combining e-mobility and renewable energies, we are making a double contribution to environmental protection.
Our digital progress shows how technological innovation and sustainability can go hand in hand. By introducing home office regulations, reducing paper consumption, using digital means of communication and a sustainable IT infrastructure, we are making a further contribution to protecting the environment and increasing efficiency.

With the "WaldLokal" project, a regional reforestation project was launched in the Arnsberg administrative district, in which companies such as the TRIO Lighting Group have been participating since 2023. Reforestation is a crucial step in the fight against climate change and the loss of biodiversity. By planting new trees on deforested or degraded areas, we can not only reduce the CO2 content in the atmosphere, but also restore habitats for numerous animal and plant species.
